About So & So Photography:

Hey there! I'm Caleb Fleming. You know, I've been around some really creative people all my life. They come from every background and work in so many different fields, and it's all helped to make me the person that I am. My wife asked me before one of our vacations "If you could do anything on vacation, what would it be?" After thinking about it for a while I thought "I'd take pictures, I guess basically I'd do my job since work isn't a drag for me." Photography is what I love. If you want your photography presented in a real way, those small moments captured so that you can remember them forever - then you've found the right page.

    Cold Front

    Friday, August 28th, 2009

Okay, so a cold front in texas actually means that we’re only getting up to 90ยบ today! Doesn’t sound like much to you northern readers, but listen when I say that is a huge difference!

Regardless I was meeting Downtown Ft. Worth last night for another Shutter Storm Meeting with Jason Ward. The sky was stunning, absolutely beautiful. We stood on the 4th story of the parking garage off 3rd street and watch the skyline rush by with deep blues and purples – amazing dramatic lighting.

“I wish I had a couple with me now, this would be an amazing shoot”

    He agreed with me.

15 min later sitting in starbucks discussing ********** (I can’t talk about this yet, but it’s going to rock your world). The sky ripped open with a chest shaking crash and poured down rain. What a beautiful sight. There’s nothing like a good rainstorm. As we sat and talked, laughing, planning, encouraging we thought out loud to eachother

“I’m glad we don’t have that couple with us now!”

We could have made the best of it of course, but it’s funny how these things can turn around so quickly.

    Getting Busy.

    Monday, August 24th, 2009

Things are getting much busier these days. Much busier, and I need a way to organize my life. Up till now iCal has worked pretty well, but I’m not sure what to use past this. Here is the plan so far.

    Morning:
    5:30am – Bible Study.
5:50am – 1-2 Mile Run, depending on my knees
    6:30am – Shower, Coffee, Breakfast (for Kris & I)
    7:10am – 30 Min Study Time
7:40am – 20 Min Blogging (alternate CalebF & Shutter Storm Blogs)
8:00am – Brush Teeth, Journal (if more ideas than on the blog)
    8:30am – Leave for work

    Daytime:
Maximize work, cut out time-wasters (pull-up competitions, facebook…)

    Evening:
    6:40 – Get Home
    7:00 – Dinner & Unwind
    7:40 – CalebF Emails
    8:00 – CalebF Marketing
8:30 – Time with the family.

There are some really exciting things happening around CalebF Photography that I can’t talk about yet – but as I get information I’ll be posting it for you.

Something very big. Subscribe, I’ll keep you in the loop!

btw. kris & I are rockstars. didn’t you know?

Amy + Nic Engaged … 2 years ago

    Monday, August 17th, 2009

It’s never a bad idea to splurge and have some pictures taken. Who says all that wedding fun has to flicker out? Sure life turns into other things like houses, kids, jobs – people grow into each other.

I’m glad to see that Amy and Nic still wanted some special pictures to have. They’ve been married for a couple of years now, but wanted to have some more recent pictures up around the house. What a great fun couple too!

It was a lot of fun to shoot with them, and they even had us over for vegan pizza afterward! Funny thing was, it was pretty good – I even had seconds!

    Bridals

    Saturday, August 15th, 2009

Psyc! (or is is sike, Psych?) Regardless, even though I’ve got some incredible bride’s to post – I’ve got to wait till after the wedding to post (those nosy grooms!).

Meantime? I’m at the Galleria Dallas now about to meet up with a bride, decided it’s been too long since a last post.

Here’s a few of the high points from the last birthday I did for Dave Davidson, Happy 80th buddy! The most amazing part about this party was the diversity. 3 couples either pregnant or with a young kid – and everybody wanted a couple of pictures! Sure made my day, I love this stuff!
